About Dr. Mitchell West

Dr. Mitchell West, M.D., FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist. He is an Oklahoma native and was born and raised in Claremore, OK. As such, he considers himself especially blessed to be able to provide obstetrical and gynecological care to the women of Oklahoma.

He fell in love with OBGYN as a third-year medical student and has been fulfilled in the field ever since. He prides himself on his ability to communicate with patients and break down complex medical problems into understandable concepts. This dedication to communication and empathetic patient care earned him entry into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in medical school.

He completed his residency at LSUHSC in Shreveport, LA and considered it a privilege to be able to serve and perform surgery for women with high-risk obstetrical and complex gynecological conditions.
